Adorning my neck...

Here is my first piece of PMC that I worked on at home. I have to tell you, I was quite nervous doing this at home because I was afraid I would forget something. I was so anxious that I did forget to texture the piece. And I think I made it too thin. But no matter, I just gotta keep it up.

Originally, I had the big pinkish bead hanging from the bottom but once I put it on realized it was too big. I switched it to crystals instead and looks a lot better. The pink that fills the heart is resin colored with perfect pearls. I read people mix resin with Pearl Ex but I didn't have any of that.

Here is the microscope slide necklace I finally finished of Yves and Skippy. First it got delayed because I wanted to print the picture on better paper, like photo paper but found that the heat (I think) was affecting the emulsion of the paper underneath the glass so it messed it up. I made another one on matte paper instead but then realized the photo was too red probably because my monitor is not calibrated with my printer. Or maybe my printer just sucks because I'm using cheap ink. Then the 3rd one I made was delayed by waiting forever for my new soldering iron to come. One of the extra tips I ordered with it wasn't in stock (which turned out to be the wrong tip) so they didn't send it out until it was complete. The LOVE charm is the second PMC piece I did at home and I do like it better. I want to fill the heart with colored resin but I'm not mixing anymore resin until I have a bunch of pieces to fill. I still want to get a tumbler so it could really shine the little crevices.

The silver heart chain is actually a bracelet I cut in half. And actually, the photo makes the picture in the slide more red than it actually is. Obviously, I didn't color correct these photos!
