The latest creations
I haven't done much stamping or crafts lately due to my fingers being numb all the time due to my pregnancy. I did manage to make a few holiday cards that I turned into New Year cards. I kept it really simple.
I sandwiched glitter filled acetate (really just the protection from my 120 film when it's developed) between the card to make a glittery snowglobe. I made about 5 different variations, changing the cardstock and the photo. All the photos are ones I took of New York, including the Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island and the Verrazano Narrows.
I made a quick birthday card for my mom-in-law. Nothing too fancy because I wanted to get it out to her and who knows how long things take to get to Jamaica. I put a picture of Skippy inside for her.
Here is a pink and brown deco I participated in from nervousness.org. The picture doesn't really show the shimmery chalks I used for the background.
And now I finally tried this technique I learned from Technique Junkies awhile ago called Opalite on Opalite. I like the way it turned out. It's a thank you card for my former co-worker, Theresa, for surprising me and sending me a pound of LiLac chocolates for Christmas.
