Resolutions

I don't really make New Year's resolutions mainly because I always resolve to better myself on a regular basis. What difference does it make that the calendar says it's a new year? Every morning starts a new day! With that being said, I'm resolving to be more productive craft wise before the baby takes up most of my time.

Back in 2004, my friend Sheila took pinhole portraits of me and Yves on the roof of her building before she moved to Arizona. In October of 2004, we went to Arizona to the opening of her gallery with a show I was in. That's when she gave me the prints. I started this mosaic frame sometime in 2005 and I resolve to finish it before April, 2007.

I think I had only done the clear glass and orange glass when I pulled it out during the Thanksgiving holidays. Then I did the blue and reddish glass. All I have to do is cut glass for the outer sections, grout it and then viola! Done!!

I am proud of myself for starting and finished this next project within a reasonable time. Granted, it was a small project but I'll take the credit! I had these wood blocks from a stamp set and the blocks were so perfect, I couldn't bare to throw them out.

I drilled holes in the side in case I want to string them and hang it. Then I painted them and now I'm at a standstill! I guess they are done?
