Never seen a Farm like this!
Saturday, Yves and I went to Staten Island (yep, folks I know I rag on Staten Island a lot but we actually wanted to go there!). We went to take photos of the Farm Colony, an old abandoned poorhouse.Let me tell you, I didn't think it would be as spooky as it was. I should have known better but I didn't expect to have to get in through a hole in the chain link fence. Yves took a picture of me coming out of the hole instead of helping me out! We didn't explore that long because my ankles were getting bitten by mosquitos and I was creeped out. I guess I watch too many horror movies but I didn't want to go inside the actual buildings. We'll go back with more people, strength in numbers!
Afterwards, we went for lunch at Lentos, the same family of the greatly missed Lentos of Bay Ridge as written about here. Happy to report it was just as good.
