Super Uber Music Geek
Me with Darren Jesse and my big cheesy grin. That's his drink I'm holding!
I discovered today, via the many music blogs I read, that Darren Jesse has a new band called Hotel Lights! He was the drummer in Ben Folds Five, one of my favorite bands and he was my favorite. So this prompted me to pull out some photos from back in '99 when I saw a few of their East Coast shows while they were touring with Jude, another favorite. I made a t-shirt using the Charlie'sAngel's logo with each of them either holding drumsticks, a microphone and a guitar. The bottom I turned into a piano. I managed to get all 3 to sign my shirt and it's hanging on my wall. Just walking down memory lane with the pictures.
my grin isn't as big and cheesy as with Darren.

I love the cheesy smiles! Where's the photo with the basist? Being the basist in a certain band, I'm certainly offended by his absence... : P
