Postcards and swaps

I've been a little lax in updating my blog in terms of stuff I've received and sent out so I'm going to make one big entry.

My friend Pete wanted to jump on the bandwagon of filling my mailbox with fun stuff so he started sending me these great Chronicle Books postcards. He'd include quotes and tidbits from OverheardinNY.com. At first I didn't realize it was him because he didn't sign them, even though he said he was going to send me stuff. Here are a couple of my favorites:

I recently did an altered trinket swap with the ladies from Kat's pad. Here is the one sent to me from Barb. I wanted an Asian theme:

And here's the one I did for Barb. She wanted a woodsy theme. The side is a quote from Henry David Thoreau, Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler.
